- Pre-owned Cartier Tank Francaise is a discontinued edition of the beloved square-shaped watch. While the newer model Francaise has a slightly more contemporary aesthetic (the crown is recessed slightly into the bezel, and the dial has different Roman numeral hour markers), there is something to be said about the nostalgic aesthetic of the authentic Cartier for sale here. It's incredibly approachable and has an enduring quality that we think you will enjoy wearing for many more years to come. At the same time, it's instantly recognizable as a famous Cartier Tank. The dial is decorated with slanted Roman numerals and sword-shaped hands, the crown has a lovely blue cabochon, and the brancards on either side of the case extend outwards to form the lugs.
