Avedon Slick Skinny

Got these based on the glowing reviews here and I wasn't disappointed! Also glad that I got 1 size smaller as advised by many reviewers, as although I was a bit worried initially as to whether I could do up the front, they REALLY stretch and hold me in more than I expected (I'm usually size 28 in Dita which fit me snugly). Great fit across the lower back with no gaping at all (Citizens fit my hourglass shape best), slight bulge at sides of waist but I'm sure these will stretch (also not at all noticeable under a slightly loose top). Very flattering on the booty, with amazing shape and lift. Definitely snug on the thighs as well, but without pull in the crotch area which can happen with jeans so flattering there too! Really comfy and warm, fabric is lovely to touch too. Will have to get the hems taken up by a few inches as too long for me, causing bunching at the ankles, after which they should taper very well. These are very dark black which I love (actually darker than my black boots!) and look like jeggings (definitely a cross between leggings and jeans, rather than either leggings or jeans. Probably a bit closer to jeans).

These jeans/jeggings are amazing! I own about 7 pairs of the COH Avedon collection and this pair is one of my favourites! The entire Avedon line runs 1 size big, as they do stretch out so I would recommend sizing down. I usually wear a size 27 and I bought these in 26 and they are still hugging my every curve. Btw, these are thicker than the J brand jeggings (which eventually do wear out around the thighs!!!). I would recommend COH over J Brand if you are thinking about jeggings.

This was my first high end jeans purchase. I bought these about two years ago, and they *still* look FANTASTIC. It makes my butt look great, a particular detail other jeans don't seem to give. it also hasn't faded even the tiniest, and I thought it would. I was so afraid that one time when my roommate vomited on my jeans, and I cringed at the thought of having to wash these jeans (TWICE, because the first time it still reeked of vomit), but it's true to its color still. Looks great with everything, and for every occasion. This isn't one of those jeans that stays in the back of my closet somewhere to never see the light of day or get worn once every few months; I literally wear them all the time! Best jeans investment by far!
